We are a group of people who are eager to tap into the potential of a network of people who, due to a lack of time or information, are not systematically in touch with one another and therefore are missing out on opportunities to generate different activities that could benefit Argentina. - President
Javier Firpo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied law at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and has an LLM Degree from the Duke University School of Law. He held teaching positions at University of Buenos Aires, School of Law and University of CEMA in Buenos Aires. He founded the Duke Club of Argentina and practiced Law in different Law Firms and as Legal Counsel for banks in Argentina. He is currently Director for the Intel® Education Programs at Intel Latin America.

- Vice President

He is Rear Admiral RE of the Argentine Navy, he has a Masters in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and he is a social psychologist. He was Vice President of CITEFA and Operations Manager of the CNEA. He was the production manager of BUN SA and executive director of the Organizational Learning Center of ITBA. In 1995 he received the "Harold E. Lobdell´17 Distinguished Service Awards" in "Recognition of alumni relations service of special depth over a sustained period" from the MIT Alumni/ae Association. He is the current president of the MIT Club in Argentina and is the Executive Director of the Alumni Foundation of Argentina (ALFA).


- Secretary

Born in Argentina. He is an architect (Universidad de Belgrano) and has an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship from Boston University. His professional experience is diverse; he has worked for architecture firms, construction companies, and even oil companies such as YPF S.A. He has worked on projects for different companies in the USA such as Mediaone, Lifecontrol, Clair Acura, and TRO Architects. He is currently director of San Enrique Petrolera SA and director of the MBA Club of the Boston University Alumni Association in Buenos Aires.

- Treasurer

He was born in Argentina and has a degree Industrial Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires as well as a Masters in Business Administration MBA from UCEMA, that was finished at the Anderson School at UCLA. He is Finance Professor at Universidad de Palermo and was Professor in International Finance at the Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales and at the Universidad Torcuato di Tella, as well as at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. After working as a consultant, he worked in a Mercedes Benz industrial plant. Then he was ten years Research Manager for Banco Comafi and currently is since 2004 Investment Banking Manager at the same bank.

- Board Member

He holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Argentina and an MBA from IAE-Austral. As a Fulbright scholar, he received his Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University (GU). He is professor of Theory of Public Organizations at the Master of Political Management at the Catholic University of Córdoba. He is the President of the GU Club of Argentina & Uruguay, which was honored with the 2005 GU Award on Educational Event. He is also the only international elected member of the GU Public Policy Institute Alumni Board for the period 2005/2007. Born in Argentina, he works as the Institutional Coordinator at the International Finance Unit, Ministry of Social Development of Argentina.

Born in Buenos Aires, MBA en Thunderbird, B.Sc. E.Engineering (Universidad de Buenos Aires) . Professor Capital Markets and Corporate Finance at the master program Universidad Catolica Argentina. Professor Strategic Management at UADE and former professor of International Finance at Universidad de Palermo, MBA program. He is also a translator for Harvard Business School Publishing (LACC). President of Thunderbird Alumni Club, Argentina Chapter. He hold various senior executive positions at MNCs such as Nec, Ericsson Mobile, Merck Sharp & Dohme, and Techint Holding. Currently provides business consultancy services.

-Board Member

Born in Buenos Aires, she has undergraduate degrees in Marketing (Universidad de Palermo), Agricultural Production (Universidad Católica de Argentina) and
Advertising (La Fundación), and
did graduate studies in Marketing (University of California at Berkeley) and Agribusiness (Universidad de San Andrés). She has worked in the fields of agricultural, food, technology and international marketing consulting. She worked for the University of California at Berkeley as a distance learning coordinator and as the university´s international representative in Argentina. She is the founder and president of the UC Berkeley Alumni Club and currently works as a marketing and management consultant at Cicmas Strategy Group.
