we thought “What
is the point of having this rich network of human capital
without generating projects and activities that bring these
people together?
A network
without content is worthless. For this reason we
decided that it wasn’t enough to organize one annual
social event. We decided to take the next step which was
to create a foundation that could serve as an administrative
center for Alumni Clubs that didn’t have much infrastructure,
and thus enrich the network alongside those Clubs that were
well established.
The Alumni
Foundation of Argentina focuses on candidates who are interested
in having an academic experience abroad, taking advantage
of the existing Alumni network to provide first-hand information
about all aspects of the experience.
The human talent in Argentina is unlimited
and for this reason we must creatively imagine what to do
with it. Returning to the country after studying abroad
is difficult for several reasons and the services provided
by our network are very useful for returning graduates.
The philosophy behind the creation of
ALFA was to capitalize on our own academic experience abroad.
There are currently 47 Alumni
Clubs or associations, and there is great potential
for establishing more Clubs so that all Alumni may be integrated
in a common framework of mutual assistance.
